This is what happens when one tries to carry an old-school full tower case without taking proper precautions. The offending article was Known as Marvin and had a Cthulu painted on one side.

Proper precautions may involve:

• Wearing appropriate clothing, this can mean very little when dealing with ancient and static sensitive kit, to a hazmat suit if it's an antique with the 'warranty void if removed' sticker still in place.
• Providing blood-bound  equipment with regular does of blood, lest they try and break out of one's control.
• Threatening the equipment with percussive maintenance, or with sale to the least hygenic person you know.
• Placating equipment with regular grooming (or at least semi annual attack of the the vacuum cleaner / air blower)
• Offering equipment a juicy treat such as more ram before handling.
• If all else fails, show the offending equipment the set of DOS floppies.
